Partying for #childrenshospitalsweek!

On Saturday, March 18th, Children’s Hospital at Erlanger held a dance party for our Miracle Kids to kick off Children’s Hospitals Week. Leading the dancing was our own Miracle Kid, Madison, a teen who suffers from hearing loss. Madison started her own organization to bring dance lessons to children of all ages and abilities. Her goal is to promote diversity and give children an opportunity to learn something new to them.

The afternoon was spent eating lots of pizza, devouring a large cake decorated with red and yellow balloons, and dancing to some well-known songs such as “Let It Go” from Frozen and “Crazy Frog” by Axel F. There was also a photo booth with silly props and band aids to take pictures in preparation for Children’s Hospitals Week. As the children jumped around the room in tutus and got to know their fellow Miracle Kids, they were able to forget their ailments for just a few moments and be kids free of hospital stays and surgeries.
