Sunny Cares for Kids Radiothon Makes Big Impact in 2018

This morning Sunny 92.3 FM hosts, James Howard and Kim Carson, proudly revealed the  12th annual Sunny Cares for Kids Radiothon totals. The announcement brought much to smile about—$96,000 to be exact! This exceeded 2017 totals by $9,000. These funds will be used to provide specialized equipment and programs for Children’s continued efforts to provide the best in pediatric care to the four-state Chattanooga region. This includes efforts to complete the Children’s MRI and procedure space in the new Kennedy Outpatient Center.

This powerful week would not have been possible without support from the many local community sponsors including, Linda Brock Homes and Planet Fitness Clubs of Chattanooga, the many patient families who bravely shared their heartfelt stories, the Chattanooga community who kept the phones ringing…and a surprise $10,000 donation from Love’s Travel Stops #490 in Jasper, TN.
